Entrepreneur, Philosopher, Executive Coach
CEO @ Agile Reloaded

Still a Minimum Viable Person :)
I’m involved with technology, communication and teamwork since 1999. I took a Philosophy PhD in Quantum Mechanics.

I have worked as webdesigner, project manager, managing director, mentor and co-founder of start-ups. They said I’m great to find meaningful patterns in things, and that I'm effective on conveying visions to people. My overall goal is to design sense-making conversations in order to find why and how organizations works, and to get their people valued while flourishing as human beings.

Currently doing what excites me the most: helping people with people. I value openness, respect, knowledge, health, and self-achievement.

Please tell me the Truth about Leadership

What really is this “leadership” thing?
Corporate focus and investments in "leadership development" is increasingly important, particularly with "new leadership models" arising, more or less related to new organizational models. Amazon returns more than 60,000 titles about leadership. Why there isn’t yet a the ultimate description? Why anyone hasn't yet found the most effective way to "create" it? Is it an gift, a soft skill, or a mix of skills and personal traits? Is it based on the individual or on the role? And how does it relate with management? Is there really such an “agile leadership”? We should try to figure it out with a systemic perspective, wider than usual.

Aristotle as Manager, and Nietzsche as Managing Director

Today's work is highly present in everyday life. We are always connected with peers, partners and customers. And we are costantly thinking in order to innovate, to create and find solutions, and to find better ways to working together.
Everybody is saying that people must be the most important key in our companies. Never like before we're surrounded by practices that aims to foster involvement, inclusion, motivation and growing passion of individuals and groups. All these knowledge is built on our modern thinking: management, economy, psychology, and it seems a neverending quest. But guess what? We are forgetting our roots. The history's wisest thinkers still can provide us simple ideas and strategies that we could apply to both life and work.
Since Aristotle, the search keyword of mankind is "happiness". What is happiness: pleasure, peace or having chance to participate in something fullfilling? Can we find Truth, Beauty, Virtue and Spirit in our companies? Being able to retake this quest in our companies can give new energy to the business, reinvigorate the cooperation and creating more value.
There's no need to anything new, because it has already been said, and it still works.

Teaming Experience Design

Every team is a living environment.
The purpose of a team lives and evolves in the interactions among individual 's experiences of being "in the team".
But what can we designers do about designing such an experience?
How can a team be designed, and how its way of work should be designed in order to match the team's purpose with the company goals and the willingness of the people who are part of it? What about the life cycle of the experience of being a digital team and the way we could measure its effectiveness? How may the team results will be impactful on the growth of individuals, as well as the business?

AGILE HR - Human resources in Corporate Agile Transformations

With Luca Bergero.
Human Resources. A sweet and sour contribution to the agile journey in big organizations
HR is usually the owner of processes and tools related to people and their growth: these tools should not just align with the agile transformation but act as enabler for it. Easier said than done.
Both in big and small companies, we’ve seen different scenarios: from cases where HR was not directly involved in the transformation (and chasing afterwards what was happening) to cases where it is leading the change, but sometimes struggles to challenge its own status quo. The impact is big, both in positive and negative terms.
Which practices can HR adopt and promote to become an effective agent of change during an Agile transformation?
